Birchbox - June 2014 Review

Hello Reader!

As you you may have guessed from the picture above, today I have June's Birchbox, which is one of my favorite subscription boxes.  It's only $10 a month for 5+ sample and deluxe sized products.  They also have a men's box for $20 a month.  You can check it out here and subscribe via my referral link to help me out.

Everything was, as always, packaged very nicely underneath a card detailing each product.

The product I was most excited about in this month's box was the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser Starter Kit.  I'd been eyeing it in the Birckbox shop for a few months now, so it was really nice to get it as a sample.  Plus, it came in its own adorable little box.

Next was a sample pack from the Nexxus Color Assure line, which included a primer, shampoo, and conditioner. The samples are small, only a one time use, but they did put some extra effort into the packaging which i appreciate. I also would rather have this smaller sample of all three products than only one of them in a larger size.

Also included was a sample of English Laundry Signature for Her, which is a completely new to me brand. I used to kind of ignore fragrance samples, but they've really been growing on me lately, and this one is no exception. Birchbox describes it as having top notes of rose geranium with a backdrop of woody spice and musky notes, which i would agree with. It smells very floral at first, then starts to develop a woodsy base. Again, as a sucker for packaging, I loved that it was pink instead of the usual clear.

Finally, we have a Cynthia Rowley eyeliner and small pot of Egyptian Magic skin cream. I would call the skin cream more a balm, but it seems to be really soothing and moisturizing.

I was very happy with this month's Birchbox, and for only $10 I think it's one of the best subscription boxes to start with. Thanks for reading, and stay gorgeous!

XOXO
Gina
